Bitdeer’s new SEALMINER DL1 Air mining machine is specifically engineered for the Scrypt algorithm. This launch marks Bitdeer’s strategic expansion into mining ecosystems for Litecoin (LTC) and Dogecoin (DOGE), moving beyond Bitcoin.

Summary

  • BTDR shares increased by 8.6% after the release of the SEALMINER DL1 Air miner.
  • New hardware is designed to enhance Litecoin mining through adaptable power settings and superior efficiency.
  • The miner’s efficiency and flexibility can support Scrypt network competition while diversifying mining revenue streams.

Bitdeer Technologies Group (BTDR) rose 8.6%, reaching $8.15 following the launch of the SEALMINER DL 1 Air. The new machine is designed to target Scrypt-based cryptocurrencies, such as Litecoin and Dogecoin. Over the past six months, the firm’s stock has declined by 54% and traded around $7.50.

About SEALMINER DL1 Air

The SEALMINER DL1 Air is an industrial-grade mining machine launched by Bitdeer Technologies Group. The miner utilizes Bitdeer’s proprietary ASIC technology and an air-cooling architecture. The machine delivers a hashrate of 25GH/s with a power efficiency of 149 J/GH. It consumes 3,725W under standard operating conditions. The device supports Normal, High Hashrate, and Low Power modes for flexible operation.

The machine measures 197 x 365 x 292 mm and weighs 15.5kg. Performance can vary ±5% in hashrate and ±10% in power consumption.

Litecoin Mining Expansion

The SEALMINER DL 1 Air strengthens Bitdeer’s Litecoin mining capabilities. It benefits from the machine’s high efficiency and continuous operation design. The device also ensures consistent output, enabling power optimization in Low Power Mode.

When set in Low Power Mode, the DL1 Air achieves a hashrate of 20.5 GH/s and power efficiency of 136 J/GH. Mining farms can adjust the performance to lower electricity consumption and costs without reducing reliability. This mode also offers flexibility for large-scale deployments.

Currently, Bitdeer operates in global data centers in the United States, Norway, Bhutan, and Ethiopia.

Dogecoin Mining

Apart from Litecoin, the DL1 Air supports Dogecoin mining. Bitdeer’s industrial-grade Scrypt miners can be utilized for Dogecoin operations. It ensures stable and predictable output over extended periods.

Deployment of SEAMLINER units has contributed to Bitdeer’s overall network growth. The company reported mining 705 Bitcoins in February 2026, recording a 541% increase year-over-year. An enhanced production reflects the integration of new mining rigs into global operations.

Bitdeer continues scaling Dogecoin mining alongside other Scrypt coins, such as Bellscoin, Junkcoin, Luckycoin, and Pepecoin. The technology supports various diverse mining operations under consistent energy management.

Market Response

After Bitdeer’s announcement, Dogecoin (DOGE) price climbed by 5.04% within 24 hours, reaching $0.10158. On the other hand, Litecoin (LTC) experienced a price increase of around 5-6%, reaching $58.49.

Bitdeer’s Strategic Moves

Bitdeer completed a $375 million senior convertible note offering to fund AI and colocation infrastructure. Bitdeer pays $5% annual interest rate to the investors who lent the money. The interest rate is relatively low because of the conversion feature.

Bitdeer is using around $43.5 million raised to repurchase a portion of its 5.25% convertible notes due in 2029. The shares were priced at $7.84, matching the price at the time of announcement. This is aimed at providing financial flexibility for scaling AI Cloud services.

With the DL1 Air, Bitdeer positions itself as a main player in the Scrypt mining ecosystem, potentially influencing the long-term catalyst for both Litecoin and Dogecoin mining.
